THE YAGUATENSE, NATIONAL - Met Tuesday the thirteenth anniversary of the death of Dr. Jose Francisco Pena Gomez, who died on May 10, 1998 at the age 61.

Later, the cancer reappeared, and Pena Gomez spent most of the rest of his life shuttling between Santo Domingo and New York, where he underwent medical treatment.
